June is the month Secondlife celebrates it’s birthday, and this year we need to be adding 10 candles to the cake, what a milestone! There are lots of events being planned but one cute thing I stumbled across is this cute mesh bear avatar released by Linden Store for 0L on MP ( https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/SL10B-Bear-Avatar/4944841 ). Bears have often featured as part of the LL events and this one has a special new feature which I was unable to show just yet. The release of materials is approaching, with several designers already selling material ready items to use with the Beta viewer. What is the materials? Now back to the bare.. beer.. I mean bear, there is a flicker group of photos for people enjoying creating photos with the avatar http://www.flickr.com/groups/sl10bear/. SO many links in this post , but I’m almost finished I promise, finishing up with the slurls to the sim where I took my pictures. I began at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Aero%20Pines%20Park/16/84/22, where Serenity bear hopped into a canoe and took to the water , meandering lazily until I found this sweet little dock I realised I was now in http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Horse/123/12/21. I love finding places like this where you are free to wander, ride, boat, walk across several sim crossings without suddenly finding yourself unable to go further.
